This is a 'simulation' of the current conditions and/or forecast, it is not supposed to be entirely accurate as far as sun/moon position is concerned - only height. I doubt very much whether the flight schedules are entirely accurate either! You can make it full screen by clicking the square in the bottom right - another click in that corner or tapping the escape key will return it to normal.
